SYNQ at NRF 2025: Launching our Voice AI Suite

NRF 2025 was an unforgettable experience for the SYNQ team. Retail’s Big Show brought unparalleled energy, and this year, we were excited to be at the forefront.  

We were proud to have our solutions showcased at the booths of some of the industry’s most influential names – Microsoft, Samsung, and IBM. Being highlighted in these booths reminded us of the exciting direction retail technology is heading and how well-positioned we are to help retailers tackle the challenges of the modern retail environment. More than 80% of retail is still done in a store – we just need to offer better tools for customers and associates. This is why SYNQ exists.

One of the standout moments was the launch of our voice AI suite*—a solution designed to transform analog radios into intelligent devices. At SYNQ, we recognized that while the future of in-store communication points toward mobile compute for associates, many retailers are still years away (if ever) from achieving a 1:1 device-to-staff ratio. Meanwhile, most retailers are sitting on a goldmine of data in the form of analog radios – devices typically seen as basic tools that are actually untapped data sources.

Perhaps even more exciting is SYNQ’s agentic AI capabilities, made possible by SYNQ Voice Agent. We help retailers turns everyday radio chatter into structured, actionable data.

Unlike traditional AI that simply listens and responds, agentic AI actively participates in the process.  

SYNQ Voice Agent can performs tasks, identify opportunities, and make real-time decisions. With this technology, our voice AI suite can automatically escalate actions based on radio traffic, provide associates with the ability to query product or store information directly from the agent, and generate powerful insights into in-store activity. This is a level of insight retailers have never before had.
